What rim color for my rims??

i plan on getting my rims powder coated. i would love to spend $3000 on some nice rays but im not rich. theyre chrome now and its all pitted/flaking and looks like ass up close. theyre not exactly jdm style rims.. theyre old mustang shelby rims lol, but the fitment is great.
theyre 17x8 +20 with nitto neo spec 225/45/zr17

i say bronze.. but more darker!

anything dark would look great. matte black is also nice.

going to paint them for the meanwhile. going to use a black primer, 3 coats of bronze and three coats of clear in duplicolor wheel paint.

this is how that combo came out on some scrap metal.

I'm pretty sure you'll have a very difficult time trying to get paint to stick to chrome. You may have to media blast them to get some texture to the surface so the paint can adhere.

after giving them a really good was and a wire brush on the inside, they actually came out not sso bad. so gonna hold of until on the paint until my tires are bald then ill get them powder coated what ever color. either bronze or gunmetal. i did paint the lugnuts black which looks nice and getting the calipers powder coated gunmetal now
