Got the back seats pulled out last night and tucked the alarm wires. Pulled out the old sony amp and prepped for the new stereo install and battery relocation. I think I will just run the battery lines through the car as I already have most of the prep work done. Removed the middle seatbelt as well. 5 people in a skyline is a sin. Also built a custom speaker deck for the rear speakers out of 1/4" luan and some fabric/spray adhesive. Turned out pretty well, I'll snap some pics of my progress this afternoon after work.

Little update.
Picked up a set of gauges, now I need to figure out where the hell I am going to put them

Stri Racing DSD SLM-II 60mm, Oil Temp, Oil Pressure and Water Temp.
(White LED, Black Face, Digital Step, Peak Warning)
So now I need to mount 4 60mm gauges and one 52mm (Stri's + PE PBC 60mm + AEM Wideband)
Open to suggestions but right now I am thinking of getting a greddy single pod for my boost controller, wideband in the vent
Also installing new OEM timing belt, idler/tesioner pulleys and spring.
Photos to come once the weather clears up. Yes, it snowed. FML.'12 STi Sedan

Stripped the sandwich plate when i slipped with the wrench on some oil, and can't get it off because the socket doesnt fit in far enough to grab.
Now I have gauges mounted that don't even work. I am a ricer. FML.
**Update, bolt getting remachined and installing oil relocation kit so I don't wreck it again.
Gauges mounted on dash above the vent, need to figure out where to run 6 wires.'12 STi Sedan

Hey dude, I live in Burlington as well, and I think I may have seen your car a long time ago.
Do you ever go downtown Brant near Birch street? I've seen a car similar to yours parked down in that area a couple of times and I was wondering if it was you.
If it was you I've also driven behind you one time, your cars backfires sound like a gunshot!
So you got your car from million trading? Did you have a friend with 944 who was with you when you picked it up? I saw someone picking up their car from their once and their friend had a nice clean 944.
I've got a GTS-4 that I'm storing on Downtown (but I don't live there, I live in Tyandaga), if you're around that area I'd love to come check your car out, its super clean!

i don't know about your neighbourhood but naming the street your car is stored on may not be to smart... where i live it would get broken into in a heart beat, but if it is a safe place then im just being over paranoid for u :POriginally posted by Fokado View PostHey dude, I live in Burlington as well, and I think I may have seen your car a long time ago.

Good point, but it doesn't help when you quote me! :POriginally posted by rak123 View Posti don't know about your neighbourhood but naming the street your car is stored on may not be to smart... where i live it would get broken into in a heart beat, but if it is a safe place then im just being over paranoid for u :P
The car is sitting out in the open so it's not like its a big secret, basically akin to telling people where you live. It's at a house, and somebody lives in the house so the car is still watched over and protected.
Burlington is a pretty safe place though.

beef! ahah just kidding...and i think if someone wanted the car, they wouldnt take it from a downtown open area, they'd snag that sheet from somewhere a little less...open. thats the only word that comes to mind.Originally posted by Fokado View PostGood point, but it doesn't help when you quote me! :P
