the seatbelts are mounted to factory seat belt locations the carpet
was part of the rear seat delete that i made.
the car is built to be safe.i do drive the sh$t out of it when i do get it out.
theres no reason to build it if you cant kill it.i just take very good care of it

    thanks for the comments..........

It's not that they aren't securely mounted to the floor, I'm sure they won't break loose in an accident. It's that when they are mounted to the floor like that, during an accident they will compress your spine, potentially breaking it. The correct way to use those style of belts is with a harness bar so they mount higher to avoid the whole back-breaking issue.

sounds good im glad that sparco put that on there instructions.
i think you have the wrong belts because these are three point.
the instructions say thet they go here.and if they were mounted
on a bar it still would put the same forces on you because there
joined at the back of the seat holes from factory.there not even possible to mount to a bar .and when you have them on they should be tight to your body.

        thks again........................

Not to harp on the belts more, but if you ever try to participate in a sanctioned event (NHRA, SCCA, etc..) they will fail you on the spot. The attatchment point of the belts must be even with your shoulder. A Comercial Vehicle inspector or any constable who knows his sh1t from shinola will pick that out in a random roadblock and give you a VI too. The seat can keep the belts from crushing you like a beer can, if the seat breaks though, YIKES.

One last thing you should do is put in a 6point cage and use a belt bar to finish the bada$$ look of the car.

Very nice, the hard work shows fo-sho.

ive raced the car.there factory locations.ive checked the dot laws .and there not for show thats how they go.**** .....there not made to go on a bar.
funny how the interior and belts are the main topic here.im glad you have enjoyed.do you guys even have race harness and the proof that the belts go on a bar.old muscle cars run them like this and on bars.theres diffrent styles of belts .just imagine that theres a seat right there and the belt runs to the
factory location on the rears and sides.now please enough with hear say.

A GTR racecar that I have seen in real life with full rollcage, has the racebelts that are connected to mounts, which are welded onto a bar. This bar is part of the rollcage. The bar on rollcage sits at nearly the same height as the bottom of 2x belt holes in top of the back part of drivers race seat.

Some street/track driven Nissan's I've seen without rollcage have race belts that are connected, just behind the drivers seat. They might have been connected to lower rear seat mounts (inbetween top and bottom half of rear seat). But can't 100% remember, as it was 2-3 years ago.

the interior was redyed in white.the process takes time but it lasts longer than painting the panels.the seats are leather and the back cover is plastic covered in carbon look vynl to keep weight down.all the under lay was removed along with wires that were no longer used.theres a build sheet on car domain.com.big boost/nitrous/gts is the title if you look under skylines.

                          Sabotage,
Nice work. Very clean car! The go-fast bits support the look very well.

Regarding belts, people are trying to save you a world of hurt if you ever actually have to use your seatbelts in an upset situation. It's not so much about rules, instruction books, or opinions as is about the laws of physics.

Draw a side view picture of a stick man in a seatbelt configured like yours. Imagine the stick man is thrust violently forward causing the seatbelt to go into significant tension. The downward vectors in front of and behind the stick man's shoulder must be reacted by something. Your seat is not designed to take those loads. (Check with Sparco to be sure, but I'm willing to bet they can't provide a meaningful compression strength value.) Consider the compressive strength of the stick man's sprine. I have one question for you... Would you like to be the stick man?

Not trying to tell you anything, just saying that the result has already been decided.

                          GL,

Wow thats one of the coolest R32s I have ever seen. The only thing I don't like is the decepticon logo. I just looks out of place in my opinion. Also, I think it should have an R32 GTR spoiler instead. Everything else is great inside and out!
