Hey Ryan - I forgot about that, but I totally agree yellow looks very nice! Also won't attract attention from the fuzz.
I took another look at the headlights and I realized that the brights were on the same bulb (duh) and not in a different lens. Now I just need the hi/low set up...although, the lows on the HID's are good enough for most driving. But last night when the roads are a little wet they do not illuminate well and having the high beams would be nice to see further into the distance. I think it's a cheap addition...
Skym - Nakamichi is pretty nice stuff. I was talking to a guy that had a full Nakamichi set up in his car. It sounded awesome, but I think I would rather spend that money else where. I'm going to go talk to my buddy (fellow FVI'er) tomorrow as he can hook me up with some great deals. I don't think I'll touch stereo stuff for now. I'm just going to wire a constant power to the deck so it at least stores my radio stations and wait until everything is all said and done with the Levin before I do more stereo stuff. I was looking at some offerings from kicker and alpine. I've used alpine a lot in the past and have been very happy with their Type-R and even the cheaper Type-S setups.
The Levin will be fun. It (minimum) needs some lowering springs because it's slightly 4x4 for my tastes. We'll see how it feels though. If it feels tight I'll leave it. It is the GT - Apex so it has the nicer suspension. And also because I don't care about weight savings in that car I may put in a full system with a 4ch amp and a 2ch - speakers and subs, new speakers all around, and the current deck I have in the pics from the first page.
Just need to wait until the car has cleared customs, and is inspected because you really never know if you will have to spend - if there are any things that need to be replaced to pass etc.
My sister may buy it ... would be a good student car too
(she's just starting uni!!)
