Just starting a build thread but I have done quite abit since purchasing the car. Info 1990 GTS-T Type M.

So far I have installed:
-Spark plugs
- Fuel Filter
- Blitz SS BOV
- APEXI Power Intake
- Nismo Thermostat
- FMIC installed and GTR bumper
- Blitz ECU(removed)
- 255lph Fuel Pump
- HKS Exhaust
- HKS boost Gauge
- Steel braided Brake lines (Dot5)
- Replaced all Belts
- KnN Oil Filter

- Greddy Profec Spec II Boost Controller.
- 550cc Fuel Injectors
- Z32 Maf
- Cometic Head Gasket
- Arp Head Bolts
- Custom NisTune and Dyno


- Turbo upgrade: Undecided right now. RB25 turbo now...

Fuel pump = a peice of cake
Injectors = PITA.. I pretty much followed the DIY document on here but make sure your new replacement o-rings match identical to the stock ones. If they don't match and your stock orings aren't scratched or torn, I would use your stock o-rings which is what I had to do.
I also have a Nismo Fuel Pressure Regulator. After installing injectors you will need to limp your car over to a tuning shop. I had an extra ECU which I had pre-programmed with 550CC injectors and used that to get to the shop.

did you go with a walbro fuel pump?
was tuning needed to run that?

Awesome car though, its cool to see the power that can be made with out switching to a big turbo. Do you like the nistune?

I went with a TREperformance fuel pump. Very similar to the high pressure Walbro pumps but they DO NOT have the loud, annoying whine of Walbro pumps, and TREperformance fuel pumps are nearly silent when the vehicle is running, similar to a stock fuel pump http://treperformance.com/c-67634-fu...pumps-tre.html
No tuning needed after installing pump but I did install a fuel pressure gauge to ensure pressure was same as before.
The shop used Nistune and I am very happy with the tune now. Before my boost would hit hard but flatten out on the top, now my boost is linear and consistent pulling hard all the way through.

Done on a Dynojet dyno?? Dynojet dyno seems to display higher rwhp than dyno's downunder like Hub Dyno.

A car downunder with similar mods produced around 255rwhp at 14.1psi. But I think ECU tune was mild, so that could be part of the difference.

Still, it's a very impressive rwhp figure for the mods.

I,m running a full HKS exhaust with Cat but when car was getting tuned, Wyn mentioned my tip was quite small and could restrict a few ponies. The funny thing is when I got car from Japan the muffler was packed with stringy wire, which I'm thinkin they tried quieting it down abit.
