So I brought my car in early last year and it ran 100% perfect almost all year minus a couple small things. I got really lucky, my car had a fairly average grade and came over in very good mechanical condition. Drove it all year and it treated me well. put 12k on it and no issues.
However before parking I had noticed:
-clutch engagement quite high
-half moon cam seals leaking
-tie rod boot (20 year old boots dont like massive steering angle)
-turbo gasket to manifold had blown apart last 100km of driving
Anyway, so I parked it and am on the journey to about 380-400 rwhp.
Some parts I have picked up so far include:
gt3076r .82 (this is currently up in the air, friend wants it and I want a holset)
OS giken sprung twin plate
ARP studs
New OEM HG
Tomei oil orifice for front and rear feeds
Nismo clutch pivot
New OEM sleeve and release bearing
Ebay special manifold (we'll see how it does. not many <1000 options)
Vipec v44 plug and play (thank you Cam)
and much more on the way soon...tomei fpr, walbro 255, fpr gauge, fuel rail adapter+fitting the list goes on and on.
On to the pictures...
first arrived around early march

immediately sorted out some wheelage

Then got to work on the engine bay itself with some minor stuff

car this summer

at the dyno...was running like a pile o' shiet at the time due to NGK coppers being...well...ngk coppers...still made 270 and 285 ft lbs.

Now its parked, and started tearing it down

Then yanked it out...

Head off for oil orifices and ARP studs...only to find aftermarket pistons. And the oil orifices already there. It was a good day.

If someone wants my rb25 stock turbo or the stock manifold thats been sandblasted fire me a PM.
Where it currently sits:

Coming into the build it had quite a few things already.
-Autobahn 88 intake manifold
-Greddy oil sandwhich plate with -10 lines to and earls core
-I forget the brand fmic
-tien inner+outer tie rods
-bings traction rods and rucas
-30mm Z brakes up front, hawk ceramics on brembo blanks
-cusco camber plates on tein driving masters
-touge factory solid steering space
-3'' straight pipe
tons of other small bits here and there
Stay tuned for constant updates.
