New Megan adjustable tension rods.

New tension rods installed!
First step, put car on hoist:

Old cracked tension rod:


New Megan rod installed:





These rods are supposed to fit an R32, but as you might see in the pics I had to find a spacer to make the pillow end of the rod fit the opening in the sub-frame. I also had to reuse the studs from my OEM rods as the new studs were about an inch too short to go through the holes in the lower arm.
Steering response is dramatically improved and I have it set fairly close to OEM rod length. The time the car takes to actually "turn-in" on a corner is cut in half as there is no more flex from the rods. I'm going to play with my caster setting now and see how much more responsive I can make the car.

Test fit of hood and grille. Slight fitment issue with the hood vent and my intercooler pipes. This thing is soo light compared to my gts4 hood!

very nice. i wanna see what it looks like outside and clean. you know its dusty when its still on the hood after a 5 hour drive haha.
