heres the r32 and the infamous rightdrive inc. bill and the copy of emissions the day after i picked it up and from 2007

upon a futher inspection by Pur auto they revealed "though i kinda already knew" that it doesnt pass safety

in fact it doesnt pass safety for the same reasons i knew of before i dropped it off at rightdriven inc

rear inner tie rods front upper control and front outer tie rods

and they missed all that dispite performing 20+hours of work on the car...lol

again i was charged $836.55(labour) +$86.87(bushing) +$60.00(machining the bushing) to end up with my original steering coloum with a bushing replaced

because they didnt double check a customer supplied part

they were also suppose to get $30.00 bushing not a $146.87 bushing

RIGHTDRIVE INC. is no good for service

      both pass

rightdrive inc said it failed emission but it passes super clean next day
rightdrive inc said it passed saftey but the next day at pur auto it failed
it also failed safety the day before it was brought to rightdrive inc (inspected by streetwise auto on ridgeway mississauga )for the same reasons it failed the day after it left them

now rightdrive inc had the safety performed by euro dynamics and i think the emissions too

so technically the can pass the buck

if i wanted euro dynamics to work on my car let alone touch it i would have brought it to them

i wanted the "skyline specialist with japan trained techs" rotflmao

wow is all i can say really i got ripped off for $983.42

plus im not the only one who feels like there prices are padded by 15% or so

you live and you learn (and get falsly accused of assult and uttering death threats)

Why would you pay up then? Save your money to buy tools or a place that has a garage.

so im thinking of going a few ways here, i got alot of time before i can put my babies back on road.

              so, way 1 .

              r34 front clip

              way 2.

rb26dett swap (r32 gtr or r34 gtr or gtt?)

              way 3.

rb20det hks/tomei engine rebuild and rb25 turbo (cherry turbos) hybrid rebuild

in all 3 cases the car is being stripped bare and only nessecery items reinstalled.
im even thinking of going to the point of bare rally style sheet metal dash and digitial speedo/tach.
and other stuff like full cage, battery relocation, and hopefully 5-6 gallon fuel cell.

just looking for some ideas right now
asked adam at feast for some prices to help sway my decision

a targa/road coarse street legal 300-400 hp and near even tq monster is what im trying to get out of this.

thanks to a wicked christmas deal "skyline_steve" gave me i now have a sick winter build instead of just a teardown.

braided fliud hoses with special hi temp sleeves and aluminum fittings
8 gauge wire for battery relocation to trunk passenger side
hks gtr air filters with titainium heat wrap
huge rubber piece im going to try to use as post maf pipe
                GReddy oil cap
                turbo smart boost controller

so im going to start with filter boost controller and maf pipe and start sizing things up

also making a custom intake for a buddys' 04' optra with spare parts and jack up my coilovers

I respect your vision, just don't get where you're going with this build. >5000$ to get the safety done, when it's being stripped down and not-insured till June 2014?. It will need a new safety done then and adding fuel cells and a full cage is going to make the street legal part tough. Totally get putting it on the track / targa style build - might be a little cold in there past Oct if it's your DD. All the best, have fun with it.

okay the $4000.00 safety was because i knew i was driving on borrowed time and wanted, no, needed to drive as much as possible before nov9th when my policy renewed
so i wanted a quick professional job done on my car and due to" pani "i was in a tiff with pur auto so i took my car to rightdrive
                        |big mistake|

now that i know exactly were my car stands (from 5 different points of view) i feel confident that this car can handle what im inteneding to do to it and it wont be a waste of time $$(besides rightdrive) and effort

so i would like to rally at some point , targa nfld looks like a good time
i know its rwd but im thinking it puts me in a class i have half a chance if competing in

i want to take it to the track as well

im not drifting , though its fun this is not the set up direction im headed in.

i do drive it alot on streets ( when insured )

so kinda a best of both worlds i guess

                        rally/targa/track/daily build

my intentions is to lighten stiffen and balance wieght then see what kind of horse power i want to make

but i think the closer to stock the better as a) im on a pocket lint budget and b) race class.

the lower the better i monitarilly cant compete with $150,000.00 + pro mod builds i just want to have fun

yesturday i made a one off hks intake for 2004 optra

                          pics to come

                          but i used
                          2.5 in vibrant 90degree coupler
                          2.5.exhuast piece as collar
                          2.5 -3.0 reducer
one of the custom intake pieces "skyline_steve" provided
used a airbreather filter for the valve cover vent
my turbo heat sheild as a bracket /water shield

                          works like a charm

for my hks/injen intake with solid post maf i need

a reducer off the turbo with collar to match the post maf pipe( 2 1/3in? - 3in?)
                          airbreather for valvecover exhaust side
removal of recirc and cap the vac line off the intake mani
i used a injen maf adaptor
and on the back of the hks fliter i used a 1990 mazda 626 thottlebody adapter
and a viberent straight 2.5? coupler

i had my reasons for the stupid safety.lol

and for the cold issue as long as the window can be de-fogged im happy

i drive with windows open year round ( i dont like feeling hot)

now 4 am mid january might suck till the car warms up a bit

but right now my r32 cabin if i leave windows up gets hot after a while so i think ill be okay

i want to make my car eligiable for rally/targa/track/snow drift/dd/fun to drive/reliable

so im doing mainly frame stiffening, lightening first

as looking for rb25 turbo to rebuild hybrid styles at cherry turbo

wanted to do a vertical mount intercooler on passenger side

i dont like the front facing intake may work for some but i think over the top fine

if i was running a gtr engine then yea

with the over the top intake and vertical mount intercooler piping length is same or shorter
and less bends and no double 180 bends

to k.i.s.s. Theory it im going to route the air out the turbo into the bottom out the (of the intercooler)and straight to the stock charge pipe

this is possible cause im removing p/s, a/c, remaining hicas, switching rad so intercooler and rad sit side by side in stead of one blocking the other

then using a swirl can and square can group a style catch system
and using a brass fitting to switch between re-circ to intake or vent behind engine bay under car

i want to be able to direct so air at the filter ( but avoid water soaking) so im looking for ideas

the dead last thing todo on my list before releasing the beast is brake pkg. Brembo is $$$ stoptech is still $$
                            so ideas?
