Measuring from one post on the resistor to the other, I see a spike of about 0.4V or so each time I turn the CAS.

Sorry, the voltage doesnt mean anything to me. I just can help with mearuing it. Hopefully for you cef jumps back on here and tells you what you should be getting.

You could figure out what your current is through the whole setup by deviding the voltage you have by the resistance of the resistor. But I dont know if that would help you either.

Well, each Injector is gettin 12v on the lines. Its actually 11.5 to be super precise. When I crank the CAS, it drops to around 11-10.8 but then stays arround 11.1 after turning it a bunch of times in a row.

According to the Bible, I should be seein apprx 10V on cranking :S

Heres a question.....If the gas lines were hooked up backwards, would the injectors make a clikcing noise anyways?

Ok SO i had mixed up the feed/return gas lines. So I fixed that, put it all together again.....surprise....still wouldn't start....

hey Brian, i checked the resitance of my injectors and they all come out about 1.8-1.9ohms

which is where they're supposed to be.

current should spike to around 4amps and then drop to 1, as these injectors are peak and hold, Not saturate like the stock units.

stock injectors opperate at 13.8ohms,if voltage is 12v, then current is .86A
gtr run at 1.9ish+10ohm=12ohm, then current = 1A

it should be right, unless your injectors opperate at higher resistance and the amperage is to low.

to figure this out exactly we need somone with a GTR to measure the resistance of the stock resistor pack.

I really don't understand it, i have run them with sucess, as have a few friends. This is really quite strange.

Is it possible all six injectors are dead? I cant see that being the case, its impossible.

Inm really out of ideas guys....I dont wanna have to break all the connections on the resistors to test the amperage. If im going to do that, Im going to remove the GTR injectors, resistors and wire in the stock stuff, and get injectors that don't need resistors. Im so baffled by this.

Stock Injectors, Removed resistors, and stock ECU....still wont start..........

I give up. Its now the same way, minus the turbo, as it was last time I drove it....maybe my ECUs are dead?

Possible that ecus are dead. See if you can find where the ground for the injectors are. Also check all the connections especially the plug in for the ecu, for pushed in connectors.

The ECU grounds out the injectors no? Isn't that how it controls them, by breaking the ground at the ECU? Still not gettin any codes when I check the ECU.

Ill look at the wiring again and check for pushed connections. Im also lookin for someone in the Ottawa region with a GTS-t so I can try the ECU. If it fires up with the ECU, then its gotta be both ECUs that are dead.....Im fairly sure that that isnt the case, as higher resistance resistors would in theory decrease the power to the ECU preventing it from fryin no?

Is it possible that by accidentally running the feed/return lines backwards I screwed the FPR?

So Im a tard......I hooked up the lines again backwards after swappin injectors and ecu back to stock, this time it works.

Now.....this means the ECUs are fine, and that the harness has continuity.

Soooooo......its now either the ECU that was chipped by EO performance...but using the stock ECU, which I just confirmed is fine, should have made the GTR injectors fire but run really really rigch......

Or its the Injectors I bought from Avery. Either he sold them to me foobarred, or they got damaged in shipping and transit.

But man, after 5 months of listening to a crappy 4cyl Talon, did it ever sound nice to hear my I6 purring again...

What are some good injectors to use? SHould I even bother with this no-name tuned ECU or should I get something different? I have the Rb25 turbo installed and lookin for around 450cc injectors. I want high impedence injectors so I dont have to wire in those damn resistors again.

                              Any ideas?

Congrats on getting her running. I would put my money on the ecu being at fault, however if you have a fuel shop near you, you can get the injectors flow tested.
