  • r32 GTS-t FRONT STRUTS....HELP

    Hey gang,

I have had enough....I can't find the front struts for the HCR32, neither used or new, or even compatible pieces from another car. Nobody seems to know.

Driving in Hamilton Ontario is hell for your car, and after about 6 months with Bee-R lowering springs, the shocks blew. Dugh...8)

Apparantly, the s13 rear shocks are the same, so I am thinking about going with Koni Sports (yellows) in the rear.

There are struts available through KONI Australia for the R32 GTS-t, but the price is ridiculous, and so is the wait time.

Does anyone know what I should do about the front struts, I really don't want to buy inserts, but if anyone has some experience with this, PLEASE share.

    THANKS

I just bought one off Ebay for a decent price. Arrived in like 3 days too.

Go to Ebay-> look up HCR struts. mention your year, model of the car.

It won't be a fancy Nismo, but for the price I got it for it was worth it for now.

    cheers

      KYB, Bilstein, Koni fit HCR32.

Talk to ATI-Motorsports in the link below, which should be able to sell you some Bilstein shocks -

Or talk to PDM racing in Canada that can source Whiteline, Koni, etc products -

      Whiteline website -

What Koni's fit the front, do you know??? I talked to PDM, and they said they didn't have a listing for the r32, so the conversation stopped there. I guess they couldn't find anything either, or they just gave up. Guess they are not getting the sale.

Anyways...if someone has changed the front struts, and can give me a part number, or even if someone wants to sell me a good used set, I would not mind picking them up for now. Thanks.

Don't quote me on this -

I think they are correct, couldn't see it in the catalog below -

I gather this is due to the car being new in Canada.

So I tried the Worldwide website, found the part numbers -

In the link above, select the below from dropdown menus -

          Make (Nissan Australia)
          Model (Skyline)
          Type (HR32)

          I hope the above helps.

Well, people have sold entire OE front struts and rear shocks for 150.00 on GTRC before, so I would not mind paying $100.00 for the front struts if they do only have 45000 km's. I'd have to come to Bolton though, not the end of the world. I am down like a frown. Hit me back ASAP, I am actually going to be in Toronto this weekend, so a drive up to Bolton would be alright. Better yet, give me a call 905.928.4423 or give me your number so that we can arrange something. :-P

              Thanks :-D
