There's a few ways you can do it.

If you tell them the part number of ECU (Nissan sticker on the ECU casing, so need to remove part of car interior to see it), they can load the maps from the ROM pack onto Nistune daughter board before sending to you.

Or you can buy cable, download trial version of Nistune tuning software (or buy the software) and download the maps from stock ECU. Then send to them to Nistune (or dealer), so they can put stock maps onto Nistune daughter board.

I found the maps, etc they put on Nistune daughter board were slightly different to the stock maps on my cars ECU when I compared them in tuning software. So I downloaded maps from stock ECU using "Consult Download" in Nistune tuning software and uploaded to ECU after Nistune board is fitted. Once you read the instructions (PDF's), it's easier to understand how to use the tuning software.

            You're welcome.

Mike could do the software, cable side of it. So all you need to do is buy the internals of ECU and get them fitted, which should make it cheaper. People with Skylines + Nistune on SAU forums do it that way.

Did you ever get this done? How much did it end up costing you?

I'm really considering buying a nistune.

I'm tired of having to open up the ECU everytime I need to change parameters.

                I need my tax return!
