GTR Gas tank in a GTS ?

Hi guys,

anybody knows if the GTR plastic gas tank fits on a gts?

my gts metal tank is dirty and I found a great deal for a GTR tank, if the switch is easy to do, it would be nice!

As I know :

GTS : Metal 60 liters

GTR : Plastic 72 liters

By same thing, do you mean that the mount bracket and tank slot are the same?

im also interested in this. and seeing as im installing a GTR fuel pump soon, and ive read that the GTR fuel pump is a shade too long and needs to be trimmed. i am assuming that this would fix that issue?

I will also replace my OEM Rusty pump for a clean GTR one, but dont know about the fitting so far buddy.

i heard of using a gtr fuel tank in a gts before. i dont think there is much difference

I've tried this. The tank fits. The only issue is the pump unit. You will have to figure out the wires buy other than that it's pretty easy.

but if your putting in a gtr pump with the gtr tank... you should be ok???

The plug on the pump is different than the plug in the car. Don't quote me as it been a while since I've tried, but I think both sides are male connectors and the gtr pump has 1 more wire. Again, don't quote me.

If you had access to the wiring diagram I think it'd be pretty easy. If someone does have the diagram post it up!

I already own my GTR fuel pump. So I will put it in the GTR tank for sure. But the wiring diagram would help me out.

Anyone could get a hand on any of those diagrams? The connectors are very different so a diagram for each model would be nice!
