  • HELP! NO START!!!

Hi, I just finished resealing my valve cover,
I had the coils out and cleaned them, installed etc
    reinstalled all piping
    hooked up battery
engine cranks but does not start
No clock working, no guages working.
I found the fuse beside the batt box marked MAIN had arced and has failed

Is this why it wont start? Is this the main ECM fuse?

    Help!! So STRESSSED!!!

WHen I hooked up the battery I was holding the pin for my alarm to not come on, and had to mess around there
I had the ground on first and when connecting the power cable, it arced several times. (I Know Im an idiot)
Lights work, alarm not working, radio not working, clock not working, guages not working.
Im hoping this is from the MAIN fuse being blown.
    Help Im pannicking!
I hope I didnt do anything else
    Cranks but no start.

      check the ecu for codes.
if none check to make sure you attached the ground for the ignitor chip and have the ignitor plugged in correctly.

I reattached the ground for the coils on the last bolt (closest to the fire wall ) of the coil hold down bolts
I reattached the grounds to the igniter and everything is reconnected
Like I said I just need to know if the MAIN fuse is somehow wired into the ECM etc

please replace the blown fuse. that leads to most if not all the power being distributed in your interior, including your ignition. hope that helps.

                Change the fuse

And the groung on the ignitor is not important for the engine,
is better, but it's not absolutely important that the engine works.
