Clutch starting 2 smell.

Threw in a new clutch. ABout 1400 miles it just started stinking. Hasn't been slipping yet. Any ideas of what it is?

When do you start to smell your clutch? After you push it hard?

sounds like slave cylinder could be worn if it dosent slip doing a E brake test.

to check slave cylinder just pull rubber boot back if it pisses out fluid you need a new slave cylinder.

maybe you glazed it. did you resurface the flywheel when you installed the new clutch?
