R32 Top two trans bolts

Hey everyone
Im helping a friend do his clutch on his gts t and we are currently stuck. I cant get the top 2 bolts off for the trans to engine, ive undone the cross member on the trans to let it down so we can have a little more space but still cant get these bolts off. has anyone got some advice for these?

I dropped the rear of the transmission down as far as I could. Then used my hand that contort un-naturally to thread the bolts in a bit. Then used a few extentions, along with a elbow swivel to impact them down.

Or you can drop your subframe bolts down a bit (but not all the way out). Be carefull when re-tightening them though, I broke one of the bolts on my subframe.

all you have to do is use 3-4 feet of extensions and just un-do them from the back of the tranny.

the passenger side one can be done with a box end from the engine bay. on the other side falcon nailed it.

You can do both with a box end... I did that once, and man was it a pain. I found it easier to just use extensions and a swivel along with an impact gun.

It is also much easier if you take those two bolts out first, since there is no pressure being exerted onto them.

Socket+ flex+extensions= no problem. I have snap on sockets that made it so easy. Can pull a gtr tranny off in 30 mins
