R33 gtst lower harness question

hey guys

i have been trying to find what wire does what on both of the plugs that are on the lower harness, that connects to the fuse box, one is the big 8pin rectangular plug and the square 6pin plug.

6pin plug
pink=A/C switch
light blue=power steering switch
gray/red=engine start?
yellow=aircon relay
white/red= ???
yellow/brown=???

8pin plug
thick black/white=???
green/orange= neutral switch
light blue=???
black=???
red=???
green=???
light green=???

I used to know all that stuff and have pictures but I forget it all and lost my old hard drive.

Can you just pull apart the harness and look inside??

I know some of the wires are attached inside the harness, just so you know.

I think there are also 5th gear switch and a electric speedo and the reverse light switch. From memory the green one is the reverse switch. You can also plug it all in and probe. Some of the wires are also for the auto trans that do not get used in a 5 sp car.

What exactly are you doing tho? rb25 into your r32? I have the Nissan R33 wire diagram book that opens into a 4 page diagram each page set. I could check later if you really need buy I think you can find out yourself easy enough just by pulling the harness apart and looking :P If you are doing a 25 in a r32 I think you just need to split it apart and swap the knock sensor harnesses and maybe the oil pressure sw I think and use the r32 lower harness.

I took off all the tape of the wires but im at work right now so can post pics.

Reason I need this is because im doing the swap in a r32, but the problem is that I don't have the rb20 lower harness or anything from the rb20 swap.
In that case the only thing I can do is use the rb25 lower harness.

That's all I need to get the car running, engine harness is done now.

Ill get you the pics of the plugs with the wires expose as soon I get home.

hey im doing this swap right now and i dont seem to have power to the starter solenoid its an rb25 series one in an r32 i am using the rb25 harness and the rb25 PFC i was wondering if one of those wires from the rb25 8pin only having 7 wires and the r32 having all 8 if i need to swap one somewhere to get power to the starter solenoid everything else works but the starter solenoid

(also wouldthe solenoid get power from the IGN relay at the passenger footwell and not that 8 pin harness)
