FMIC install help

I just installed a fmic on my r33 2.5l and the old pipe on top of the motor before had a small hose perhaps 3/8 going from the pipe to some sort of solonide, It is not hooked up because the new pipe has no port for it, I just took it for a run and it spitted an sputtered at (wot) should this be hooked somewhere, should I drill & tap a hole for it, I searched around and found no Info, Thanks in advance for any help

Sounds like the boost feed / source hose to stock boost control solenoid. There should be another hose from boost control solenoid which leads to internal wastegate actuator bulb.
