can some one please clarify? i have seen posted that rb20det transmission take 2L as well as 2.7L. also witch method of refilling the transmission is easiest?

take out the plug on the side and fill it from the top untill it pours out

My car decided to play games this year during my Tranny Fluid Change. I drained it, then couldnt get the fill plug to undo. I had to take the my short shifter out and fill it thru the top. Since i couldnt fill it up till it leaked out the fill hole, I put just under 3 litres of RP Syncromax in.
Some tips for u, get your tranny warmed up from a drive b4 you change the fluid. And whatever Fluid you put in make sure it is meant for Syncros(ie RP Syncromax) and you have 3 litres of it. Drain plug(1/2 inch Ratchet) is on the bottom and fill plug( Big Square Head) is on the Passenger side of Tranny. Remove fill plug, then drain plug, allow fluid to drain, put back in drain plug, then fill thru the filll plug hole till u cant put anymore in( you will need a hand pump or something similar because filling with the bottle wont be easy), put back in Fill Plug, tighten up and go rip sh!t up. 2 or 2.7 litres, it wont matter, fill it till you cant put anymore in because its full and coming right back out.
