Turbo upgrade

Im looking for a turbo for my car that is similar to a garret GT30. does anyone know what holset turbo is the closest? what other brands/models would you suggest!

did you get my pm? Holset hx35 is close to a gt35 but a hy35 i believe is what its called its a bit smaller and maybe a bit closer to a gt30.

Why dont you just slap in a Garrett GT3076 or GT3582 ? No stuffing around. With turbos, you get what you pay for, I've been playing with them for over 20 years and believe me, if you think you'd save a bit of money by taking short cuts, you will end up paying more in the long run by having to do everything again.

GET A GARRETT BALL BEARING UNIT and be done with it. You cant beat them for quality....Who do you think builds turbos for HKS ?

the hx35 will spool far faster than the gt35 but a bit slower than the gt30. I have one on my car freshly rebuilt and modded to just bolt up to a top mount setup. I'm going a different route so if your interested shoot me a pm. We can figure out a price etc

another perk is the hx35 can be rebuilt and balanced anywhere, you have problems with the garrett cartridge your buying a new turbo

I have a Holset HX35 with garrett exhaust wheel, check the FS area for my thread. I can offer a really good deal on it and the Tial 44mm wastegate that I have. +++ I am in Lethbridge so viewing is possible

ya i have a wastegate already and im not interested in a HX35. as for garrett i would like a turbo that is still american made.
