Z32 maf on rb25

Hey

so i just got my z32 maf and pigtail in the mail today.


I was just wondering if i can soder it up and it will work without retuning my ecu

I have a power fc.


Can i hook it up with out any problems?


or do i need to change some settings?

There is a z32 maf setting in the rb25 powerfc and I don't think it will need retuning

so on the power fc under settings and air flow
I get

1. R33 Normal
2.Power Intake
3. 80 VG30 air-f
4. 90 VH41 air-f
5. Options

WHich one do i pick then?


I suppose ill ask at this time as well


ON my power fc, under sensors, these ones have a black dot next to them

I know what they stand for but does that mean they have gone bad? or aren't functioning properly? or what

I remember it saying z32. All you should have to do is switch your maf setting to that

i hooked it up. It runs on any settings, i just need to know which one is the proper one to run it on

on a rb20det when yould be a good time getting a z32 maf? after 20 years is it safe to say the one i have is toast? can you get z32 mafs brand new?

For me this is a bit hard to explain (easier to show), but I'll give it a try. Fuel, ignition maps have rpm (rows), load (columns). Your changing the load scaling (gap between load values for columns of cells and overall load value) on fuel, ignition maps when upgrading to Z32 MAF table (selecting Z32 MAF on PowerFC hand controller or in tuning software). Without tune, engine can run too lean or too rich, depending on what load cell is used and cause acceleration problems when transistioning from offboost to onboost.

I selected VG30 cause thats what the maf came off of i'M assuming


Once i get my injectors i will get my buddy to tune it for me.


Yes you can buy them new. I bought mine used with the pigtail off zilvia. MAKE SURE YOU GET THE PIGTAIL


You can buy the mafs new from Nissasn but thats a waste
