I was looking for some and i was set on 6000K. Cause it is still white pretty much with a tad of blue. The higher you go the more blue. 4000-5000k is close to stock (color wise). 3000k and less will be yellowish. good for fog lights. You can find spectrums online to get a better look.

make sure for your low beams you get H3C lights. unless you do a conversion to H3 which i heard isn't that hard

the 8000k or 5000k means 5000 Kelvins, its the temperature of the light emited, not the brightness, if your HIDs aren't bright enough, then they must be damaged, and HIDs are much brighter than simple halogens

4000k is stock, i got 6000k which are a tad blue, 8000k will be very blue, getting on purple even

6000k 35w will be slightly bluer than 6000k 55w. 55w will emit more light, but produce more heat energy however are notably brighter. If you can find 55w, i'd suggest those >35w.. If you want a bluish tinge, go up 1 rank on the scale for 55w (8000k equivalent to 6000k 35w).

At any rate, the colour temperature has been played imo, anything over 6000k hinders light and your ability to see. If you want HID's for the blue, stick to 8000k as your tops, anything over will be teh gayzzz
