Alright thanks for the info. I'd say .5 is too small to power a 2871 compressor. I'll go neo or vg30 turbine for the rebuild.

Specs are similar to T3/T4 turbo. I would be concerned about the balance of turbo, parts used, longevity.

Can get local made hybrid turbo made by Cherry Turbos or similar turbo rebuilder -

Was looking into this as well. Had a few people offer series 2 RB25 turbos... but i think i'm going to pick up a used stock one and get it rebuilt. It definitely the cost efficient solution. Then again i'm not looking for more power... yet... just reliability for now.
