alright so here is an update, Checked all tps wires for breaks no issues, replaced the tps, works perfectly, Drove the car for about 1/2 hour problem came back, Seems like it takes about a half hour of driving to get it to happen and the problem will go away if the car sits for 24 hours. Could the problem be the ecu? Literally nothing left? Don't know where to go from here

Honestly think its a voltage issue, change the mounting angle on your TPS do increase/decrease the voltage it's getting. Was doing this in mine as well... Get new TPS, works fine, fry TPS, broken again. Does your AWD light come on?

Increasing angle increases voltage I believe, and visa-versa.

thats the kicker, i retested the voltage last night while it was not working right, everything was in spec and checked out fine. I was never able to get the old tps to ever show any kind of error. Just replaced it anyways to rule it out. The problem is exactly the same, didn't very at all from old tps to the new one. I double and triple checked every wire from inside the ecu to the tps make sure all connections were good. Only thing left on the circuit is the ecu? I even replaced both harness connectors going to the tps to make sure they had good contact.

check the wiring on the TPS.

While tuning my car, we thought my TPS was pooched but it was the actual wiring harness.

Made a fresh one, and it works fine.

The problem was that the tps would be like an on/off switch and would be too rich on even a little blip of the throttle.

We're eventually going to find a more common tps that will be retro fitted.

Our TPS requires a switch wire (2 wire loom) and the 3 wire loom for power, voltage signal and ground.

.48-.5V at zero throttle input (idle) and max of 5V @ full throttle.

If those numbers match, our ecu will be content w/ that TPS.

Oh ya, we actually had a ground problem when we put the motor in so the whole harness for the tps is brand new going right back to the ecu. I did also check the signal voltage at both the tps and ecu, checked out perfect. Slowly ruling things out but seeming more and more like an ecu. have a new one to try just gotta get it socketed see how that works out
