  • 300zx calipers

Has anyone ever put the 300zx tt front calipers on a r33 gtst to be able to use the 280mm rotors instead of the 296mm rotors??? Im thinking about trying to do it cause im tired of not being able to find the 296mm rotors. I have searched everywhere and was unable to find any info on it. I have compared pics and they look to be the same other than having taller mounting tabs for the larger sized rotors. I want to know if the 300zx calipers will bolt right on or if it needs adapter plates or what. Any input is appreciated and thanks in advance

Our R33 rotors are the same as the non-brembo g35 iirc

Brembo sell replacement rotors. Just have to find the part number on box.

Or DBA sell replacement rotors -

If want something local and easier to find, can fit 324mm JZA80 Supra front rotors with spacer plates for calipers.

This company in Japan sells the mounting brackets (spacers for calipers), mounting bolts for calipers -

Second photo in the above link.

        You'll need a translator -

I ran into this same problem last year, from what i found R32 GTR non V-spec rotors are pretty much the same except that they are 32 mm thick instead of 30mm. I've heard they fit but dont quote me. I ended up buying AMS 2 piece front slotted rotors, got them last year before they even posted them up, i test fitted and they fit great. I have a link some where at home that lists all the sizes. Ill try and find it tonight, but heres an example

I think I'm just going to get the AMS front and rear pad/rotor combo. It's pretty nicely priced and I'm sure if you call you could knock a few bucks off.

Thanks for the info guys. The combo your talking about is this right? http://www.amsmotorsports.com/shop/i...fandr-kit.html I was looking at that and then saw it wont fit my car so thats why i wnated to change to the 300zx calipers. I think i might still go pick up a set of 300zx calipers from the wreckers and see how much trouble it would be to fit them.
