So over the last little while I have been trying to sort out the mess of wiring in my R32 gtst with S1 RB25. I have a RB25 S1 ECU and a RB20 engine harness.
What I'm confused about is an inconsistancy in the wiring diagrams. If you have a look here at the RB25 ECU pinout you see NO mention of anything to do with the throttle valve switch.
But here in the trouble fault section It tells you how to diag it and mentions pins that either dont exist or are used for something else.
So for all you guys with a R32 with RB25 that idles properly, is this throttle valve switch still needed with the rb25 ecu? Is this only needed for an auto ECU or does the 5spd ecu still need that sensor input?
Apparently the ecu should be putting out 8-10V on that circuit but my ecu only puts out a 5V reference. This input should be necessary for idle control in conjunction with the TPS should it not?
