If the stalling occurs when you take your foot off throttle and on clutch(gear changes, traffic lights, stop and go traffic) I would suspect a atmospheric BOV. Also you should be getting the occasional burb/backfire out the tailpipe in between gear changes with the Atmo BOV.
Many who run Atmo BOV just learn to deal with it by blippin throttle before it would stall. Also you could get your ECU tuned/chipped/Rom'd which would help a little. Running Atmo isnt really bad for any parts except your O2 sensors and Cat Converter. The extra fuel will shorten the life span of those.

The more maintenance you do(cleaning/adjusting to spec/replacing) will help your RB in everyway.
Also, you could clean and adjust IAC Valve. Idle Air Control Valve. Located on the rear of the Intake manifold.
If you dont have it already, you should find the R32 engine manual and download it.
Yeah sounds like the issue im having, i will look into a recirculating BOV. Cleaning engine components definitely does help with the issue and yes i get a pop sound, more like a backfire sound between shifting gears sometimes and when letting off the gas to coast down a hill or something.

With faulty TPS there's no popping sound that I've noticed, so most likely it's the atmos BOV.

Also stock ECU has decel tables that can be reprogrammed to stop it from stalling.

o2 sensor when it's faulty can make exhaust pop flames (popping sound from exhaust) when it makes engine run too rich on decel.

Can run a Synapse BOV to atmosphere, as it has a anti stall fitting you can run -

Just installed antistall kit for my R32 GTR RB26. I have no stall problems and this freakin BOV is loud as hell.

Or running a blow through MAF is another way around the problem.

But recirculating BOV with a engine that runs a draw through AFM is best.
