  • How to Rebuild CV shafts

I've got a 89 GTS-T and both my cv's are shot. Does anyone know a list of part number for the bearings and u joints to rebuild them myself.

Or is it more worth while to take it to some sort of driveline shop for a rebuild?

if so. Does anyone know of anyone who does that kind of work in the interior?

    Thanks Brian

no one has any ideas? Got new from nissan axles prices out at 600 a piece. Thats a bit steep for OEM but i would still like to get these rebuilt if its possible?

Part number? crossover parts? If 300zxTT axles bolt up i'd be the happiest person ever haha

      find a drive shaft shop
      best quality job, low price

thats what i did for my rack&pinion
nissan wanted 730$ to rebuild it, a specialized rack&pinion shop did it for 380, with a lifetime warranty

i found used ones for now but going to see if i can get the clicking ones i have now rebuilt. So to get a quote he needed to know if the inner bearing set was staked or pinned on. Almost positive we are pinned but the outer i was not sure. He was saying some can some can't be rebuilt due to the ball and cage design. So may just give him one see what he can make of it
