Clutch or transmission Help!R32 GTs-t

Had too much fun last night.
Went to Cayuga and ran the 1/4mile, first time ever.

I think I fu-bared the car.

Parked with the car in neutral I hear a winding noise. I press down the clutch pedal the noise goes away,
all the gears are good.

all I know from the previous owner is that the clutch plate is Kevlar..the car is pretty much stock.

1.Are there any adjustments I can make?
2.Is it the tranny or clutch
3.guess I should check the tranny fluid

I'll try and record the noise.

^ Agreed. Mines been doin that for awhile. Hasnt gotten anyworse or better. I should replace it, Ill get there eventually.

Sure, I'll post again when I go to Cayuga
my time was 15.5 because I don't think I launched well.
Stock is suppose to be 15 flat.

release bearing is what I thought.
I had a mechanic check it out. he says transmission..he said check the fluid level and try adding Lucas oil.

Note:Check fluids before racing.. tranny,diff..

Best I ran in my rb20 was 14.1 with everything stock except some different wheels on the back. It was alright but this time I'll be coming out in a gts4 rb26. Should be alot better time then last time that's for sure. I should run somewhere in the 12 mark unless I turn up the boost and then I could prolly see high elevens. Let me know when your going next
