  • What the hell?

    I got a new blitz ss bov that I just put into my skyline. I didn't have another pipe to replace the stock one w/ the stock waste gate so I just sealed off the stock waste gate competely to avoid any issues. (or so I thought? Maybe) Anyways, Everything was strapped in and such and I took it for a test sound/drive. It sounded like Crap. I could barely hear it inside the car, and outside the car. I also lost 3 pounds of boost! I have no idea what the hell this was about, maybe is there something wrong with my bov? Or what could the issue be?

    Any help would be great, thanks!

    But seriously; you sealed off your stock blow off valve? Or wastegate? Two completely different things. Since is basically impossible to seal off a wastegate, I'll assume you mean stock blow off valve. So you sealed off your stock port, with a flat piece of metal? And used the gasket so it sealed perfectly. And installed this new pipe with new blow off valve. And ran that vacuum hose from stock recirc valve(blow off valve) to the new blow off valve. And also you have sealed off hole in the stock intake rubber piping.

    If you have done this, there wil be no problem.

      Would it be easier if I just completely took out the part w/ the stock wastegate out and replaced it w/ a custom pipe w/ stock vacuum lines? That may fix the bov sound, but what about me loosing all my boost?

        The spring in the bov is probably way too weak

            Yes you are correct they are but a blizt ss bov is one thing That I can guess he made a mistake but replaced the stock re-circs with
