  • This doesn't look right, does it?

    Just installed my rear crank oil seal, and it looks like the inner lip/edge of the seal is kinda sticking out against the crank. Shouldn't it be folded in instead of sticking out?

    I've been brushing my teeth with jack but it's resulted in terrible amounts of tooth decay.

    Is it in the right way? Doesn't look that bad. Shuffle the crank shaft around a bit(utilization crank shaft end play). See what the seal does.

        It's fine.
        The new seals (compared to the stock one) have 2 lips (lawl)
        There's an inner oil seal, and this outer dust seal, which doesn't really sit well for anyone..

          Sweet, oil pan is going back on then. Thanks for the help guys
