  • rb 20 Blow by problems?

Hey i'm pretty stumped and need some input too help me figure things out. My 240 with rb20 just recently is getting oil in the intake manifold/intercooler piping and blows blue as i was told on deceleration and not on wot. It doesnt seem too smoke blue at idle but there definately is shaft play in the cold side of the turbo. Too add too this i havent done a compression test yet.

My car also seems too have a problem with being rich at wot its always 10 flat and i have an external adjustable fpr which is set at 25pounds with a warlboro pump which i understand is very low but seemed too keep the car from backfiring and run somewhat better. My maf, o2 sensor, and cts have been replaced too compensate with this fuel problem and made it run better but didnt improve the afr's.

I know this is a long shot but even some suggestions for even one of these problems will lead me on the right track. It actually Pulls really hard and drives well but im afraid for the worst so need too figure this out. The oil problem is recent and im wondering if the rich fuel problem may have wrecked the rings somehow.

    Thanks for any input

It's normal for engine to run rich at mid to high rpm due to bigger lph fuelpump forcing more fuel through injectors (injectors are open more at mid to high rpm). ECU retune with Nistune is the fix.

Oil from compressor side of turbo is the normal oil seal failure for stock turbo (did it on my car when turbo failed). The off balance shaft takes out the oilseal. You'll need to clean intercooler, throttlebody, idle valves, BOV, etc after replacing turbo.
