DSM injectors on a rb20?

I have these 450cc eclipse/talon injectors and have been wondering if anyone has tried them in their rb20.
They are cheap and easy to find so the upgrade would be under 200$
Standalone needed of course.

Anyone have experience?
Anyone know what the stock injector impedance is?

If I have to I'll go to the rx-7 units as they are fairly cheap also.

I was wondering this myself too. They are top feed low iped just like the rb20 ones and like you said, 450cc (if they are out of the turbo 5pd)

only one way to find out. if id does work they are super cheap

ok well last time I have checked the RB2 injectors are high impedence (12 ohm @270cc) the RB26's are low impedence (2.5 ohm@444cc) and the DSM 1G blue top injectors are Peak and Hold low impedience (2.5@450cc). you would need to wire in a resistor pack which is what I had done. I used a resistor pack out of a 1990 civic si and it was a very strait forward installation, I am using the GTR 444cc's. If you are unsure in the future heres a link that might help out a bit:

They should be a direct fit, when I used the 444cc GTR injectors in my honda civic I had to open up the rubber o-ing seat a little bit, when I dropped the 450cc DSM blue tops in I had to also modify the rubber o-ring seat, so I believe they should just drop in and if you need a resistor box let me know, I can get you one with the pig tails for the cost of shipping.

So, are the rb20 stockers peak and hold or are they saturated?
Can you use one or the other without problems?

I can get either but would like to know what would work best.

Who else has used any injectors from other vehicles?

rb20 inectors are high impedience (saturated). If you dont want to wire up a resistor pack, stick with a high impedience, saturated injector, but if you dont mind wiring up 3 wires then I say stick with low impedience, peak and hold style injector, mainly because of the selection out there (think of all the GTR injector upgrades you see everywhere that are all peak and hold). You CANNOT run a peak and hold(low imp.) injector with out a resistor box or else you will burn out the injector drivers in your ECU, and like wise for saturated, no resistor pack for them.

Mitsubishi VR4 450cc injectors fit onto RB20DET fuel rail. But fuelrail has to be slightly modified, etc -
