  • Catch can

So I got an idea off one of the Kiwi forums and came up with this:

And I'll be damned, works like a charm and only took an hour to fab up.

Hmm not a bad idea.. I guess the PCV doesn't see much return residue this way.. Is the tubing diam. large enough though? If not, you'll see excessive pressure build up!

An idea - Block off the left hand side (driver side) larger diameter black tube and run just the blue pipe on the back to cut down on tubing. Then run the tubing from the right valve cover to the catch can.
Check out the GTST Projects page and keep up to date with my build!

Took it for a rip, 6500rpm shifts, and no issues! I pulled the cap off while idling an stuck my finger in there and the air flow is adequate. Stuffed some steel wool inside the can to collect the atomized oil. I daily this car so I will post up if I come across any problems.

Tubing diameter is equal to the stock piping on the valve cover, but the rest is a wee bit smaller. I will change out the fittings this weekend to accommodate a larger hose. This is basically my prototype for now.

        Found this on SAU.

Sorry, my bad. Just overheard someone say that once and it kinda stuck in head. No disrespect meant.
