  • GTS4 RB25DET swap /w RB20 transmission.

    As title says, that is looking like the most likely scenario for my car. The one thing that I CAN NOT figure out is what I am going to do about the front diff. It's running a full 4WD rb20det setup, but the only rb25's you can really get these days is rwd only.

    What do I do about the front diff/oil pan?

    If nobody can figure out how to get around that, what do I do about the cv shafts that are there? I've heard you need a shaft by some mechanics I know, but maybe they're wrong?

    I would really love some good input on this as it's a major decision on whether or not I keep the car =/. Otherwise I may have to go through the hassle of dropping in a single turbo rb26, which is muuuuch more money and might not be worth it!

    im no expert on rb20 or 25s for that matter but im pretty sure you can mod a rb25 oil pan to make it work...
