Running lights on r32 stopped working

About a week ago I was driving at night and my dash lights turned off and my running lights stopped working. The turn signals/high beam/ emergency brake lights on the dash still showed, but not the rpms or speedometer or anything did. I bought new fuses (10's) and found the appropriate spot by using a fuse tester and took out the fuse and replaced it, it worked for about 5 seconds, then it went out again and burnt the fuse. I looked under the hood and checked a relay that looked like it had been added, and then checked in the trunk to see if any lights were burnt out and they were all fine. And I don't want to seem like a dumb girl because I can't figure it out by myself, but I tried to figure it out before posting this. haha please help

Sounds like you have a short somewhere, electrical problems are a pain in the arse.

I think killed kenny is right about the short. Goto this link, third post down. Load wiring diagram and try to find affected circuit. Yea, wiring is a pain and time consuming.

yeah wiring sucks, haha I was looking for a short, and the wires i could see looked fine but i will check out that site thanks

Did you buy the car like this or did it just recently happen? Also do you have any extra gauges or things hooked up? This could also be the culprit

it recently happened. I bought the car mid august. & no extra gauges
