  • Subframe / bushing info

Does anyone one know how long in labour it would be approximately to replace my subframe bushings?
How much time the job will or should take. Need an idea so I can plan my spring upgrades
    Thanks

When I did mine. I put in solid aluminum AMS subframe bushings it took me in my garage approximately 8 hours of full work spred over 3 days. I have a gts-4 so it took longer because of attessa system and having to re bleed everything. But not having a press sucked and having to burn out the old rubber and hammer out casing. If you have gtr or gts-4 and are doing should aluminum subframe bushings you are gonna need another spacer approx 1.5-2 inch think because AMs said there is no difference but there is and you run out of thread when tightening bolts .... Hints the extra spacer.

      Thanks for the info
      8 hours.....wow!
I'm going to do an energy suspension polyurethane bushings
Don't want to go solid as I drive it 20,000 km a year.
I have a gtst so I don't have to worry about the atessa
3-4 hours? I assume my shop has all the proper tools needed

If you have a hoist and press definitely. Longest part was getting old bushings out.

Ps I have solid aluminum and drive 25,000 km every year.
