  • Spark plug type confirmation

    hi,

can someone please verify that NGK BKR7E plugs are correct for my '93 GTS-t coupe.

Yes and No. The "7" is too hot for a stock Rb20. I would go with a "6" if your under 300whp.

6 is hotter than 7....higher the number the cooler the plug..... http://www.ngksparkplugs.com/tech_su...k_plugs/p2.asp

And usually double the price for colder plugs.

Thanks guys, i got the 7's. The car has been sitting for about a year so hopefully changing the plugs and tuning it a bit will fix the misfire and hesitation thats occuring.

My bad. You guys know what i meant.

Gap the plugs at 1.1mm. Still misfiring - gap at 0.8mm.
Still miss firing - check your coils.
