coolant leak

rb20det block is pissing coolant like crazy from the front, i drove to work down the highway and let the car cool off in the parking lot and when i shut it off and got out there was a pretty big pool started. after work i drove home, the car is still wet from earlyer but there was no big puddles in the garage. i suppose it would be the water pump. i havent checked the turbo i will do that some time tomorrow if i have time.
are the rb 20,25, and 26 water pumps the same? any domestic versions that match the skyline? any comments on my problem?

any info is of great use.

My bet is on the hole in the water pump that goes when it needs to be replace. That's what mine did

yes if its at the front of the block it is the pump
if it where at the turbo it probably would have been steaming quite a bit
as for the compatibility in the rb series pumps i will look tomorow
i dont know if there are domestics with a compatible pump but i wont say no
either way ill have a part number for you tomorow

Ya sounds like the water pump, I just ordered an oem belt, water pump, both tensioners cam seals and crank seal , ordered off eBay from a dealer in Tacoma, $240, was 270 shipped, unless your going for something aftermarket, probably the best price you will find, they didn't sell the full kit so I emailed them and just bundled everything together.
