    Good to hear.

Boost level will not go lower than the wastegate spring psi. If using RB20DET internal wastegate actuator (auto, manual are the same), that would be around 12psi when tested on bench (spring psi can vary from 11.36psi-12.78psi when tested on bench). If lower than 11.36psi or wastegate on back of turbo rattles (happened on my car), the internal wastegate actuator is stuffed. If want lower than factory boost level, try R33 RB25DET auto internal wastegate actuator (spring psi can vary from 4.8psi-5.6psi when tested on bench). Manual R33 RB25DET internal wastegate actuator has a higher psi spring (spring psi can vary from 7.0psi-7.8psi when tested on bench).

Check TPS setting, as dropping below idle rpm when slowing down is what my cars engine did when TPS wasn't set on idle contact (ECU didn't switch to idle, etc tables). The others would be adjusting atmosphere BOV if you have one, intake airleaks.

well i run external wastegate.. as well as i think the idle might be caused by big turbo with very short exhuast( 3" 1 piece exhaust that goes from turbo and directly out behind the front wheel so very little back pressure

        That would do it.
