  • Won't start

So I have an rb25 series 2 in my 240sx

I removed every single wire that came stock on the car and am trying to get the car running by running powers and such to the needed wires on the ecu.

The car wants to fire on initial start up but then doesn't.
I am getting spark and fuel just it won't actually run.

Can anyone give me ideas to what would cause this?

    Need the car for Saturday,

    Thanx in advance, Brad

Check CAS, ignition module wiring. On series 2 RB25DET the ignitors are installed into each coilpack, so each coilpack can be turned off via ECU when cheking for a failed coilpack.

If CAS is stuffed the engine gets harder to start when cold or hot. If CAS is unplugged the engine won't start (usually CAS is unplugged when priming a new turbo with oil before starting engine). Ignition module does something similar, but takes 10 minutes of driving (to heat ignition module up) before engine stalls and won't start until ignition module cools down.

Also check wiring to fuelpump, fuelpump.
