From what I can remember, I think one halfshaft is shorter than the other. Can't remember which side, sorry.
There's a left and right half shaft. They bolt onto the ears on each side of diffhead. As far as I know, amount of bolts / nuts on ears, half shaft's varies from non LSD GTS diffhead to LSD GTS-T diffhead, half shaft's, so have to buy half shaft's to match diffhead. The shaft off half shaft's on hub side that slides into middle of hub on each side (has snapped in this area with high torque from turbocharged V8) is locked in with a split pin.
You're welcome. Also with factory diffhead's I think you can swap the ears + internals (if same type of diffhead R180, R200, etc, so have a different final ratio).
