  • RB20 standalone options

Looking to move away from Nistune and get rid of the MAF in favour of a MAP setup.

From what I understand there are a few options:
    AEM EMS 2
    Haltech Platinum
    Vipec

Does anybody have any experience running any of these on their rb20?

You can run a blow through MAF setup with Ford Lightning MAF if want less restriction before turbo (no gauze screens) -

Kinda got the idle right, car has been idling for a while. It's come a long way and still needs to for some more. Better Vids after I get it ready for the dy...

With MAP ECU, make sure it has IAT (Inlet Air Temp) sensor + hot, cold temperature compensation maps (fuel, ignition) and barometeric compensation (adjust's to changes in altitude). ViPEC ECU, Link G4 ECU would be best of low budget options and have those features. But be aware the tuning cost's will be higher due to more things to tune.
