    ok

as some may know i have yet to figure out my knock sensor code issue...

i had wired in a resistor on each knock sensor wire at the ECU (460k ohm to be exact) and no go on it tricking the ECU into thinking all is well...

whats even more weird is after i wired in numerous resistors(to see which would trick the ECU), it still threw the code, so i figured then it must be my ECU itself that has something fried in to... went to a friends and borrowed, not 1 but 2 different rb20 ECUs... put one in... failed to start the car... re attach my ECU, vrooms... starts no issue... tried the 2nd ECU, same deal... would not start my engine... WTF!! how can 2 different ECUs (known to be working) not start my car but my own ecu will.... this makes no sense to me... anyone got any ideas?!

now second... im going to wire the knock sensors back to normal, and take off the intake and replace the knock sensors and see if that gets rid of my code and let my car run properly for once...

now if not, and the new knock sensors dont work and my ecu still throws a code... what do you think are good options...

    1. Nistune (tune both reg map and limp map to be exactly the same, that way my car will run properly for once)

    2. Greddy e-manage ultimate (need to look into this a bit more to see if this will even help with my knock sensor issue at all and will let me tune both maps the way i want them to be tuned)

    3. RB25 swap (i would like to not have to do this is i dont have to... it will be a while before i can even do this)

    4. Sell car as is, down in the USA where mine is becoming legal soon. then either wait to get a r34 or get a FD

can you guys let me know what you think.... honestly... i just want my car to run properly for once... i want to be able to rev the thing over 3200rpm... ugh....

Nistune is a decent option for the money. Been running it for a couple months now after my stock ROM tuned ECU kicked the bucket.
