  • RB Crank collar availability

I was just wondering if anybody knows if Allen Peterson is still making or supplying crank collars and oil restrictors??(http://forums.gtrcanada.com/parts-sa...b30s-more.html)

I tried his phone a few times, and it looks like he hasn't logged in since March.

If not where are people goin these days for collars and restrictors? It seems that the JUN collars and the like have a little more engagement play. I'd like to put the best collar in i can since it's such a pain to replace.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Ian

Allen is not making them anymore and hasnt for over a year now. Ive had 5+ ppl ask me this question so i guess its best to post up. Alecs auto machine shop in vancouver on fraser has Allen's design and is making them. I wouldnt ever buy a jun collar or any other collar that is premade. just take your crank and oil pump to machine shop and say you want .02 clearance on both sides for total .04.

Perfect. So "Alecs auto machine" would know what i want if i told them i want an RB crank collar made up? I'm on the island, so if i could have it made then i could take the collar to a local machine shop and have them machine off the old and press on the new.

How about restrictors? Is there a local source for those? Or should i just get a tomei or the like online?
