  • 240 sx TPS on Rb20?

I've heard that the S13 240sx (1989-1994) TPS sensor is a direct replacement for the RB20DET oem unit. I can confirm that they look visually similar, but can anyone confirm this first hand?

I'm pretty sure there is no direct replacement.

I might have to throw down the $70 just to try and confirm this one. Not really in need of a TPS, but I'm really interested. They look visually identical down to the last detail but short of cracking it open to compare circuitry, I can't be sure.

Nissan no longer makes the part..but you should be able to source one out locally through a shop, or looking around the forum which i did. Hope that helps! but yea s13 tps shouldn't fit, while the prongs match the wiring isn't compatible i believe, i could be mistaken however.

If it plugs in and fits throttlebody shaft half moon it should be the same. The Nissan part number on sensor (stamped on metal? part of TPS facing throttlebody) should tell you if they are the same.

Internally they should be the same, idle contact, WOT contact, circuit board with track on it for variable voltage. I think series 2 R33 TPS is different (voltage trigger on ECU for idle, WOT contacts).
