Can you put a GTR32 rack and pinion on a R32 GTS-t???

Doing this here for a local friend. He owns a 1989 Skyline R32 GTS-t. But the rack and pinion is shot and needs a new one. Luckily he has a spare, but it's a rack and pinion from a R32 GT-R.

Question is, will it fit?

Should be the same powersteering, HICAS setup on R32 GTS-T, R32 GTR. R32 GTR HICAS ECU is different (part number is different if you look at ECU), but you don't need that.

Well the great thing is he doesn't use power steering in his car. lol. So if the R32 GTR rack and pinion bolts on exactly where the R32 GTS does now in stock location then he'll have no issues.

I'm also guessing that the steering column knuckle will also find it's way to attach itself to the rack no problem. Or in the case or the original owner saying he "might" need to modify an extended knuckle to met up to the GTR rack. Which I never figured that it would be that much different.

There's nothing I know of to change the position, shape of front steering rack (transfercase on sump, front half shaft's affect's front swaybar shape, different front hubs to suit front half shaft's). GTR, GTS-T front steering rack has a solenoid? to control powersteering weight and that's connected to HICAS ECU (look at wiring diagram in back of engine manual).
