  • Neo Exhaust Cam VS std rb25 cam

I can grab a aem ems for a decent price. The problem is I run a neo RB25 and the neo cas don't work with the ems disc.

I have std rb25 cam and cas sitting in the garage

My question is can I put s1 RB25 exhaust cam in the neo?

the s1 cams are more agressive or less?

    cheers

The NEO RB25DET cams are solid lifter and S1 R33 RB25DET cams are hydraulic lifter (including valvesprings to suit).

Also S1 R33 RB25DET exhaust cam has the Mitsubishi CAS and NEO RB25DET exhaust cam has the Hitachi CAS (differences are the way CAS shaft engages front of exhaust cam, pinouts on CAS are different).

Stock cam specs can be found here -

You can run a ROSS crank trigger setup that's more accurate than CAS (what they run on high hp racecars, dragcars, etc) -
