  • Help R32 25 swap leans and cuts out

Hey so I'm having some issues with my r32 has s2 rb25 it runs good when cold idles fine a little high but doesn't sound like it's missing and once the car warms up it will go really lean then stall out. I had a safc 2 in before and did the same kinda thing went to apexi fc d Jetro have the map and temp sensor hooked up. and problem is still here wondering if anyone knows what could be causing this.

    Mods are hks 2540 turbo
    Walbro fuel pump
    555 injectors
    The power fc d Jetro
    Fmic
    Has forged internals
    Stock cams
    Spitfire coil packs
    Just put new plugs in

Could tps or AAC valve cause this

Sounds like it can be a wiring problem. I would replace engine harness/igniter

Wouldn't it be lean all the time and just not idle right from the start if it was electrical runs good when cold and problem came out of the blue one morning. it was running good about a month ago.

TPS affect's transient fuel enrichment (when you suddenly press accelerator pedal). If foot to floor (WOT) voltage is higher = richer and if lower = leaner. When TPS fails the foot to floor (WOT) voltage drops and the idle, WOT contact pins bend.

Check coolant temp sensor. Check voltage at coolant temp sensor or sensor check on PowerFC hand controller.

Hardwire fuel pump to get 13.5 volts instead of 10-12 volts at factory and check that fuel pump isn't a copy fuel pump. T in fuel pressure gauge inbetween fuel filter, fuel rail and check fuel pressure, should be above 35.5psi at idle with vacuum hose to FPR connected.

Sometimes it can be as simple as a fuel leak (fuel hoses near fuel pump, in engine bay, etc) causing a drop in fuel pressure.

Turn out to be some faulty wiring with the fuel pump causing it to surge and not getting grounded proper thanks for the help
