  • R34 Skyline Staggered Concave Rim Fitment 18x8 1/2, 245/40/18

    I am looking at purchasing:

    Front Rimes 18x8 1/2, 245/40/18
    Rear rims 18x9 1/2, 275/35/18 70% tire tread.
offset +45 on all. On 5x114.3 wheels.

I am wondering if they will fit on my R34 GT-ST?? Please advise before I impulse buy them lol.

+ 45 offset will look horrible IMO. Aim for something +25 offset

Does this mean they will stick out too far and look weird?

it mean they will be way sunken in and look even worse. You will have about 1.5-2" of wheel gap

18x9 +30 -35 for the r34 with no pulling or rubbing. You can get away with +25 with the right rubber.

Isn't that what wheel spacers are for? If its a wheel you like and a good deal, scoop them up. Put them on, if they are sunk in too much for your liking then some 15mm spacers will fix you up. I have +42 10" on the rear of my R32 GTR and it looks like stock with a 275 tire, a GTS-T (R34) would be a smidge better, fitment wise.

You can always space wheels out, can't really go the other way.

Why not just buy wheels that fit?

Does every one realise that this is a 9.5 inch wheel on a GTS-T? With a 275 tire? +25 would look stupid, you know, like a tire and wheel that doesn't fit.

+40 would have been better but having the tire actually fit inside the wheel well will make your car usable, as in take 3 dudes and all their stuff on a weekend trip to Whistler. I have no problem loading my car up with 200lbs of crap in the trunk to take on a road trip to the coast and still lay the smackdown on a Porsche on the bumpy ass Coquahalla. There's tire fitment for hard parking and real life, I prefer the latter.
