  • Goes flat rich after hitting a bump.

hey guys my rb25 is giving me issues.

it runs fine. good afr's good power but if i hit a good bump it runs terrible. bottom of gauge rich.

doesnt go back to running good untill i park it and let it cool down. then its fine til i hit another bump.

im just wondering if anyones had this problem.

power fc, 660cc jecs inj's, twin tomei fuel pumps, tomei fpr. that sums up my fuel system. gotta be fuel related if rich right?

Try lightly tapping the square part of AFM, wiring to AFM plug to see if the problem shows up. Sometimes it's loose wiring into ECU plug or loom plug is incorrectly seated into ECU. Also check plugs to other sensors (TPS, o2 sensor).

i have it grounded through the harness. i had my old z32 maf grounded to chassis but q45 maf now only had power, signal and harness ground. good idea to throw a ground to the body too?

Check to see if your fuel pressure regulator is dirty and or sticking. It's clearly a mechanical problem, not tuning related.
